With more than 13,000 employees around the world, we are committed to using our energy and heart to drive a better tomorrow.An Energy Management Solutions Developer is a role in the DevOps & Automation department for Global Energy Management of EDP, responsible for the development and support of critical solutions for the business operation.EDP is looking for a qualified developer to design and implement solutions supporting Global Energy Management processes. The candidate should be experienced in programming languages and have a good understanding of database data modeling and data integrity.The elected candidate must be up-to-date on the latest practices in database creation in order to develop, test, improve, and maintain a new database for this department.Main Accountabilities:Planning and implementation (including unit testing and writing technical documentation) of solutions mainly at the database layer (SQL development).Troubleshooting issues on behalf of the business users.Writing technical specifications on User Stories and executing acceptance tests.Ability to work on-call schedule to support business international teams.Planning and developing disaster recovery procedures to assure business continuity and availability.Required Profile:ACADEMIC SKILLS:Graduates in Computer Science or similar with a minimum of 2 years experience developing solutions involving programming languages and SQL development.LANGUAGE:Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English.
