Reporting to the director of Finance, this role will be responsible for managing the EMEA accounting close and the statutory audit.Key ResponsibilitieOwn the record-to-record process and manage the accounting close, statutory audit, and indirect tax compliance of the EMEA entitiesManage the overall month end close tasks including review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure a timely and accurate closeAnalyse liquidity and profitability indicators and comment on the period-over-period fluctuationsBe the main contact of external audits and manage the indirect tax compliance with fiduciariesCollaborate with tax and treasury team on EMEA tax planning and legal entity rationalizationCoach, mentor, and develop the EMEA accounting team, and position the team for future successInstil a performance-driven culture and promote transparency, and inclusiveness in the workplaceSupport ad hoc projects as needed, such as process improvement and system implementation.RequirementsBS/MS in Accounting or Finance.Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.A strong people manager, with minimum of five years of people management experience.Experience working in a large global public company.Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
