Coach and mentor othersInspire, develop, recruit, and motivate a software engineering team. Conduct regular 1:1s with team members, set individual development or improvement plans, and foster a healthy feedback culture within the team.Be an ambassador of good practices and team cultureEvaluate performance and help improve it if necessaryExample of your Goal: Scale the Instagram Channel area from one to three teams. Provide and execute a step-by-step plan on how we will grow to three teams (hiring plan, team split strategy, roles distribution) in communication with the stakeholders (Head of Engineering, Product Owner, etc.).Minimum Requirements:7+ years of experience working in a product team as a PHP developer (we use PHP 8)Track record of successfully leading and scaling cross-functional development teams with backend and frontend scope (ideally at least two years' experience in an Engineering Manager role)High level of hands-on technical experience in software development and architecture, with several years of experience working as a senior software developerProfound expertise in back-end software development and system designYou would enjoy a 30% share of hands-on technical work (code and architecture reviews, technical design, hands-on coding, ...)Experience in Agile values and principlesCommunication.
