Head of Business Unit GI & Vaccines As the Head of Business Unit GI & Vaccines, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to redefining industry standards, fostering collaboration, and championing a culture of continuous improvement. Your strategic vision will impact the success of our organization and pave the way for advancements in patient care through digital marketing, omnichannel approaches, and comprehensive customer and patient journeys.
Role Objective: Your mission is to set the vision and strategy, ensuring the successful execution of brand and key account plans. Lead our teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences, exceed customer expectations, and drive performance with innovative sales and digital marketing strategies.
Take ownership of the P&L for the BU and implement targeted patient programs to support access to medicines and compliance, while fostering a customer-centric mindset. Uphold compliance with laws, regulations, company strategies, and Takeda's corporate philosophy.
Accountabilities: Leadership Responsibility for Sales & Marketing Team:Develop direct reports and promote a cooperative work environment.Ensure customer-centricity and prioritize patient outcomes.Set targets, monitor achievements, and coach employees.Hire, develop, and retain commercial staff.Maintain Takeda's reputation in the GI & Vaccines area.Be fully responsible for local GI & Vaccines BU business.Financial & Strategic Planning:Develop BU strategy in cooperation with cross-functional teams.Implement policies to achieve revenue and profit targets.Establish financial plans and inform brand strategy.Assess market dynamics and develop competitive brand strategies.Sales Force Planning and Management:Build account management capabilities and drive key account management.Set Sales Force Effectiveness standards and monitor achievements.Develop Sales Force concept and incentive system.Project Management & Cross-Functional Cooperation:Implement cross-functional plans and promote innovative commercial programs.Collaborate with Medical and Value & Access functions.Work with DDT and Marketing to develop digital marketing campaigns.Customer Activities:Develop professional relationships with key customers and scientific societies.Identify new opportunities to meet customer needs.Collaborate with patient networks and design patient programs.Utilize remote and digital touchpoints to enhance engagement.Administration, Monitoring, and Controlling:Monitor budget and resource allocation.Ensure adherence to quality standards and legal requirements.Cross-Country Collaboration:Share best practices and customer insights among Takeda teams.Represent the BU in regional and global meetings.Skills and Leadership Capabilities: Education and Experience:University Degree qualification.Fluent in English and Spanish.At least 10 years of leading and management experience.Skills:Successful launch experience in GI & Vaccines or Specialty market.Proven track record of understanding customers' needs.Inspires and leads to deliver innovative solutions.Business acumen and ability to manage a P&L.Join us to lead a team that is at the forefront of integrating digital innovation and patient-centric approaches in the GI & Vaccines sector.
