Business Unit Director - Hemato Immunology Role & Function Lead, develop and build the Business Unit (BU) locally to allow optimal portfolio decisions and efficiency in managing the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Responsible for the Spain's Immunology Business unit sales revenue generation, costs management and P&L performance in line with agreed budget plans and forecasts. Ensure continued development of Sobi business presence in Immunology and lead a culture of excellence in customer engagement and Key Account Management. Lead the definition and overall delivery of marketing strategy and any future portfolio brands in Spain & Portugal, ensuring that local customer needs and market requirements are actively included in the development of Sobi strategy. Responsible for the final delivery of sales and budget forecasting for the year and in all monthly reporting requirements. Accountable for the BU's effective tactical implementation of the agreed marketing plan, agile response to any changes in market conditions, and deliver high standards of behavior within appropriate regulations and codes of conduct. Lead the BU working closely with Medical Director and PACE Director to ensure a seamless local strategic direction across functions and one Sobi face towards customers. Line management of the Sales and Marketing staff in the BU. Lead representation of the BU in any Sobi Global or Regional requirements or meetings, ensuring active and constructive engagement from the Spain & Portugal perspective and encourage a culture of collaboration and sharing to support Sobi's success in this therapy area. Accountable for all recruitment, executed in a timely fashion to ensure the BU is suitably resourced to meet local business needs. Determine the appropriate structure of the BU, assess competencies and skill sets needed to ensure Sobi remains at the forefront of commercial excellence within this business area. Together with the Spain & Portugal general manager, ensure ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies and adherence to those regulations and policies for self and any direct reports. Be part of the Spain & Portugal Management team, actively contributing to the development of the Affiliate and supporting the General Manager in achieving the overall goals for the business. Qualifications Experience from sales and marketing within rare disease / specialty care roles for a minimum of 5 years. Successful and documented line management experience and/or specialty medicine/orphan disease team leadership experience would be a significant advantage. Previous recent experience in Immunology is not essential but would be an advantage. Demonstrated abilities to quickly forge high level trusting relationships with leading KOL's within a specialist area. Documented experience and good performance in budget management, and sales forecasting on a BU or product basis, including short- and long-range planning. International interface experiences, including documented participation in global or European strategic or marketing forums. Ability to set and communicate strategic goals and create a compelling vision and direction for a product or commercial activity. Significant experience in leading the development and delivery of annual product plans, budgets, and forecasts. Experience of pre-launch and launch planning and follow up activities. Strong commercial credentials, including experience of product sales at a hospital level, uncovering customer needs, assessment of market research, and development of Key Account Management within a previous role, ideally in a specialty medicine or rare disease area. Previous involvement in working at a high level with NHS or other payer groups, negotiating commercial access contracts or involvement in Tender bids would be an advantage. Ability to work independently but also collaboratively with a wide variety of colleagues and support an internal culture of openness, respect, collaboration, and achievement. Other Requirements University degree level education, medical / science based is preferable but not essential, provided there is a demonstrated history of working within complex medical/commercial environments. Local and international travel will be required. Personal attributes Skills/Knowledge Required Leadership, effective communication, and team working skills, line management experience.
Multi-stakeholder project management and leadership experience, delivering results on time and within budget.
Flexibility, ability to manage change.
