Work at the forefront of our mission by championing innovation and tapping into your technical sense.This role reports directly to the Director of Data Engineering and Analytics within our engineering department.What to expect:Analyze our current synchronized methodology, to propose cutting-edge integration strategies and present improvements that ensure data consistency.Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, weighing implementation strategies and clearly communicating trade-offs and reasoning.Work closely with cross-functional teams, both within and outside of engineering, to gather requirements, align methodologies, and uphold best practices in data movement.Enhance operational efficiency, providing repeatable, well-documented solutions that bring clarity to our codebase.Delve into our implementation of business systems like Salesforce and NetSuite, gaining a profound understanding of the data emitted by our product.What you bring:Strong knowledge of sales and finance business processes, and experience with implementing business processes via technical solutions.A curiosity for understanding not just what happens, but why it happens, and achieving problem definition before launching strategies.Ability to weigh the tradeoffs of different approaches to a given problem, and to clearly communicate the reasoning for a proposed solution.Clear written and verbal communication about your work, your perspective, and your needs.Comfortable working in a remote environment, managing your time and contributions efficiently without direct supervision.A caring mind-frame and an empathetic spirit and the ability to think from other perspectives.Bonus points for:Experience with integrating enterprise systems; NetSuite, Salesforce, and Marketo among them.Knowledge of data modelling and the importance of data contracts.Experience implementing internal API strategies.What we offer:An innovative product you can believe in.
