The company has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Strategy Analyst looking to join an expanding and dynamic renewable energy company.
We would like this position to support our business development team and help us grow in the renewable energy space.
Responsibilities and Duties:Responsible for creating and maintaining sophisticated financial models.Own the financial modeling process for project evaluations, project financings and assist in project-level due diligence both internally and externally.Support the Business Development team in the M&A process, from deal origination, preliminary analysis, issuance of economic offers, DD process, in order to assist the process of agreements negotiation and deal closing.Support the financial analysis of opportunities providing key investment metrics.Coordinate with the Business Development team to ensure robust financial proposals to potential partners and clients.Pipeline preliminary assessment and investment analysis.Issue internal critical issues analysis reports.Collaborate in the elaboration of financial models.Be in touch with the different financial, technical, business development and legal departments in order to ensure the correct financial assumptions.Assist in the development of Joint Ventures (JV) or Shareholders Agreements (SHA) with long term partners.Evaluate and track the financial performance of our projects.Provide insights in market trends, PPA market and regulation changes.Prepare the presentations and reports for banks and investors, presenting business opportunities and advocating their profitability based on the base cases elaborated.Stakeholder identification: analysis of key players, potential partners, and competitors.Monitor public and private RE auctions.Support Business Development team in creating market development strategies.Knowledge and analysis of Solar PV market policies.Participate in the development of the business model of Solar PV energy.Economic analysis of the policies and current projects, analyze its viability and evaluate its adjustment in the business model of the company.Skills and Qualifications:BA in Business Administration or BS in Engineering; valuable Master in Finance or Renewable Energies.1 to 3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.Work experience in financial analysis, venture capital, M&A, project finance, etc.Good analytical mindset.Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.Organized, attentive to detail, communicative, and a team player.Ability to communicate proficiently in English and Spanish.Good level of French is a plus.
