This function includes Global Markets Application Production, Local Territory IT Development, the Core Infrastructure environment including Datacentres, Application Production, Security, Architecture as well as elements of the Global Services organisation.MISSIONThe primary objectives of this role are to ensure that the IT services provided to our clients meet business needs and the financial management is understood and communicated.
Strategic directives of IT Production are communicated to the teams.The scope of this role encompasses services provided by the CIB.
Collaboration and Input to technical reviews undertaken by the technical Domain Heads and Product Owners is critical to ensuring the needs of the businesses are represented and accommodated in the design of current and new IT solutions.
In the event of a critical incident oversee the operational response and authorise communications issued to the business clients.RESPONSIBILITIESThe Business Relationship Manager acts as the main point of contact between the CIB I&P teams and recipients of the services provided.
In this role the Business Relationship Manager is responsible for the following Client facing activities: - Oversee the Services that are provided to each Client - Ensure each Client has a formal contract or agreement to underpin the Services - Agree an annual Budget for each Client - Work in conjunction with the I&P Operational teams on new Initiatives - Perform Service Review Meetings on a regular basis with each Client - Co-ordinate activities between I&P Operational teams and Client IT Teams - Follow annual invoicing process for each client - Attend Steering meetings for each major new Client initiative where appropriate - Provide Global co-ordination for Clients where appropriate - Create and manage new Financial Proposals - Ensure there is a signed and up-to-date SLA in place for each outsourcing activity - Add KPIs and KRIs that have been agreed by the relevant Product Owner and Service Management team are added to customers SLA's.
- Ensure any performance issues or concerns with the relevant material outsourced activity under the scope of London Branch Infrastructure is highlighted to the attention of the head of the business line or function.
- For each relevant outsourcing agreements under the scope of London Branch Infrastructure, there is at least an annual formal, minuted review of the level of service provision with the service provider.The Business Relationship Manager is also responsible for the following internal activities: - Identify existing process that can be streamlined and enhanced - Provide Budget and Forecast information for I&P management - Provide Service Sold Information, digitally, for I&P management - Services, Volumes, Charges, Agreements - Work with I&P Teams, Globally, to align Service descriptions - Co-ordinate activities between I&P Operational teamsAdditionally, the Business Relationship Manager will work on Specific I&P Strategic Activities identified by the Global ITO Production CTO.This role will also cover the line Management of the BRM team members in Madrid.
- Setting goals and objectives with team members as part of Objectives and Appraisal process and to follow-up them regularly.
