.100% | Madrid As a globally active company, we're taking our service delivery to the next level and we're building a new Service Center for IT-Professionals, Software- and Data Engineering roles for working on projects and IT operational tasks of the Axpo Group.
For this service center, we're looking for a broadly interested person with a large professional network in Spain to drive the build-up of Axpo Services EMEA in Madrid.
In this role, you will be working closely with various stakeholders throughout the organization, host the employees and all collaborators from Europe, and manage and oversee administrative tasks with relevance for this site.
What you will do You are going to build-up the Axpo Services EMEA site (IT Center of Excellence) in Madrid.
You ensure that the site is operated and its administrative tasks are completed, in accordance with legislative requirements and local legislation law.
You are responsible for Accounting, legal, and all other administrative tasks relevant for this site, incl.
supervision of administrative support staff.
You ensure successful recruiting and hiring processes, as well as site expansion and employee retention.
You are the local "go-to-person" on site for employees as well as for line managers having team members working in the Madrid location.
You will promote a positive professional image of Axpo Services EMEA with partners, utilities, service providers, and other stakeholders, and in the business community at large.
You serve as the "chief ambassador" of the new Axpo location in Spain through presentations, speeches, articles for publication.
What you bring & who you are You successfully completed a Bachelor or Master's degree in business administration or similar.
You bring a solid generalist experience with a proven track record in running a site successfully.
You bring the experience of managing complex set-ups and have an extreme bias for action needed in a startup-like environment.
You have a solid network in the Spanish IT staffing / IT industry.
You have the ability to operate at a strategic and operational level.
You are able to develop long-term business relationships.
You distinguish yourself through your "Pioneer spirit" and "get-it-done" attitude.
You are a native Spanish speaker and you are fluent in English, knowledge in German is a big plus.
