We are looking for a Business Intelligence Data Analyst based in our Boadilla office, with at least 3 years of experience in building dashboards and data products .
Your role We are looking for a Business Intelligence Data Analyst for our Cybersecurity department, a key team in our technology ecosystem.
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Data Analyst to build a reference Business Intelligence Platform of the newly created function within the Cybersecurity Unit for Santander.
One of the main products will be the creation of dashboards that will serve as the central hub for our cyber teams across multiple countries, providing critical insights and fostering data-driven decision-making.
You will work closely with other data analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders from various departments to ensure the dashboard meets the needs of our global teams.
Your main tasks will be: Collecting and interpreting data from different sources in our AWS Datalake and datawarehouse.
Analysing results from different cyber tools and drive insights that can lead to reducing the risk.
Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the team, using data visualization tools.
Identifying patterns and trends in data sets, as well as automate these tasks so we can spend less time reviewing normality and more time analyzing interesting anomalous patterns.
Defining new data products from our different cyber verticals.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Ability to identify and automate recurring tasks (through scripts or dashboards).
Create a repository of key queries (really useful queries could be interesting for the rest of the team and for your future work).
Generate documentation of all the processes to facilitate their understanding, transfer or backup.
What you'll bring If you think you've got what it takes, these are the key skills we'll be looking for in your CV: 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Computational Skilled Degree (Computer Science, Telecomm., etc..) Statistical analysis: you know the basic statistical concepts and know how to implement them in different programming languages (ideally Python or Spark, and less ideally R).
Dealing with large datasets and implementing scalable solutions.
You know what data cleaning means and how to interact with a data engineer.
How to solve problems using data: analyze the problem and decompose it into different analytical components.
Software development: you know what git means, and how to develop your own code, test it and use it to produce actionable results.
Data Visualization, and tools like Power BI (highly appreciated), matplotlib, tableau, or similar.
You are an SQL-ninja, writing simple exploratory or efficient queries won't be a problem for you.
The following would also be great... Fluent in English and Spanish written and spoken.
Knowledge of Cloud services (AWS, Azure).
