As a BI Analyst , you will report to the Data Manager and work closely with all departments to provide them with the best possible information and insights.
We are looking for a BI Analyst who can master data extraction, data analysis, and is proficient in report preparation and in extracting quality information from data.
You should be confident in your data extraction, cleaning, and processing skills, and know how to guarantee the quality of the data and its future usability.
Furthermore, you will analyze the data to generate and deliver usable insights with Business Intelligence tools.
Success in this position requires the ability to manage multiple data sources, knowledge of SQL , experience in tools like Quicksight , Domo, or Tableau, and ideally familiarity with AWS services such as Glue, Databrew, and Athena.

What you will do at ODILO Act as an internal consultant to translate business questions into insights by collecting and interpreting data from different sources in our AWS Datalake.
Understand business needs and produce insightful analyses for internal teams to make the right decisions.
Analyze results from different actions and drive insights that can help our business.
Report the results back to the relevant members of the business, using data visualization tools.
Assist colleagues in gaining access to the right data.
Transform and load data with SQL, Glue, and Athena (Ideally pySpark but not required).
Identify patterns and trends in data sets, as well as automate these tasks to spend less time reviewing normality and more time analyzing interesting anomalous patterns.
At least 2 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions working with: Proficiency in SQL (required) Experience with visualization tools like Quicksight, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
(required) Experience with Excel/Gsheets in data environments (required) We are looking for a detail-oriented person not afraid to ask questions for data to make sense to build valuable business insights.
What would make us happy Experience in Python scripting (with packages such as pySpark).
Strong experience using Amazon Glue and Amazon Athena in your ETLs.
