Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact in fostering a strong business relationship.
Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders including procurement, marketing, and management teams.
Ensure that products are prominently displayed, well-stocked, and effectively marketed.
Monitor sales performance of products across all locations and take proactive steps to drive growth.
Work closely with the sales teams to provide product knowledge, sales strategies, and support.
Identify and implement upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue generation.
Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to adjust strategies as needed.
Ensure proper product inventory levels at locations to avoid stock outs or overstocking.
Coordinate with the company supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Manage product returns, replacements, and other logistics issues that may arise.
Negotiate and oversee the terms of contracts, ensuring that pricing and terms are favorable for both parties.
Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, pricing structures, and promotional activities.
Work with the finance department to handle invoicing, payments, and financial reconciliation.
Address any issues or concerns regarding the products or services.
Collaborate with the technical support and customer service teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensure that the products meet the expectations and that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
Provide regular reports on account performance, including sales figures, product movement, and client feedback.
Communicate relevant updates on new product launches, promotions, and other marketing initiatives.
Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems and ensure data accuracy for all client related activities.
Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to create strategies for long-term account growth.
Plan and execute joint marketing campaigns and promotional activities in coordination with the marketing department.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
Preferably has previous experience with account management and trade marketing.
Experience managing large retail or pharmacy accounts is highly desirable.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the retail drugstore industry.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and create actionable plans based on insights.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while being highly motivated to achieve goals.
Able to navigate diverse industries and tailor sales approaches to different markets and customer needs.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (80%/ 20%).
Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.
Comfortable using technology to optimize sales processes.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
Willingness to attend industry conferences, client meetings, and events.
