In a period of rapid growth and ongoing VC investments, we're seeking a Business Development Representative located in Barcelona or nearby to cover the company's activities in the Iberian peninsula.
The primary objective of this position is to support a large-scale implementation of apoQlar's portfolio in a hospital located in Barcelona to proactively encourage the adoption of the technology to maximize its use and benefits.
Following the implementation of this site, the core focus will switch to rapid business development in other major centers from Portugal to Catalonia and everywhere in between, as well as ensuring a high level of ongoing support at the hero site in Barcelona.
Responsibilities Identify business opportunities through systematic tracking of market trends and competitive analysis Conduct presentations and product demonstrations for potential customers Track sales opportunities and closely collaborate with the sales team around the world Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with different stakeholders in marketing, regulatory, health economics and market access, and product Prepare reports and analysis to monitor business success Participate / Lead at medical conferences, trade shows, and events to promote brand awareness Ensure the correct installation and implementation of the technology Provide high-quality technical and clinical support for clinicians on an ongoing basis Be a trusted partner for clinicians and support co-development of advanced products and features between our R&D team and the customer Support clinical and economic research programmes Develop high-level relationships with hospital stakeholders, C-Suite, HOD, Clinicians Manage our expanding network of Key Opinion Leaders in the greater Iberia territory Expectation is to be with customers on site at least 4 out of 5 days Your Profile Technical or scientific background, ideally in Biomedical Engineering or related Medical Technologies 5+ years work experience in a clinical environment 5+ years work experience in sales or customer support functions Fluent in both English and Catalan or Spanish Must demonstrate a high level of motivation, be a self-starter and comfortable to work relatively autonomously Experience with mixed reality hardware and/or software is a distinct advantage Benefits and Compensation Eligibility for our EU sales commissions scheme.
In the first year, there will be no cap on commissions, incentivizing rapid scaling of the business.
You will receive a company laptop, phone, HoloLens 2 (or newer), and Meta Quest 3 (or newer) for use in your role.
