What your role is We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager who, based in our Madrid office and reporting directly to the Head of Sales National Accounts, will be responsible for managing and fostering long-term relationships with key clients to drive business growth and generate custumer engagement in all categories we operate.
Key Responsibilities Negotiate annual agreements for Key CustomersNegotiates Promotional Plans and leads correct implementationHigh capacity to build a adapt customer annual plans (Joint Business Plan)Use to negotiate and coordinate new product launch with successExperienced in demand planningExperienced in Financial management and P&L optimization, responsible for optimization of trade support budgetCreates customized strategies to meet the specific needs of customersPlans and anticipates for unexpected changes in the marketplaceGuides and supports the field force in the implementation of strategiesIdentifies new business opportunities for all company brandsQualifications Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree Administration/economicsPreferred Level: MBA or other graduate degree3/4 years in Multinational environment (preferable FMCG industry)Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing Key Customers in FMCG industry (Preferred National accounts such us Dia, Alcampo, Carrefour & Discounters (LIDL & ALDI))English C1Computer proficient with Microsoft OfficeCompetencies Ability to develop strong and strategic customer relationships, with seniority to deal with Top ManagementStrong Finance background and P&L managementExperience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, and E-commerce would be a plusStrong Growth and creative mindsetHighly oriented to resultsWhat you will bring to the team Demonstrate your adaptability ability and teamworkBe able to think creatively with strategic insightHave excellent communication skillsBe prepared for an international career!What you get from us Flexible and employee-focused work cultureEqual Employment opportunitiesAt General Mills, we are committed to recruiting, retaining, developing and advancing an inclusive workforce that reflects the diversity of the consumers and communities we serve globally.
