About the role The position is focusing on developing the business in the south European Region. Specifically to develop strong connection and business with the strategic Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and Power Generation market. This includes:
Detailed account mapping of each site including decision maker and other related people.
Evaluation and appointment suitable distribution partners.
In this role you will be responsible to:
Market research, analysis and identification of the local potential clients with focus chance for success and overall potential.
Identify and acquire actively new customers, qualify, prioritize accounts and opportunities to produce the best sales and profitability results.
Open, develop and retain relationships with clients and distribution partners in our target segments in the region which are active in the industry, in particular oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical and power generation.
Set comprehensive sales strategies based on turnaround activities and of targeted companies.
Actively acquire new customers, perform on-site demos, build relationships on all levels, achieve sales and follow-up in after sales, including product trainings to customers.
Maintain a high awareness of gas leak detection market trends and the competition, their strengths, weaknesses, sales and marketing methods & shares this information with internal stakeholders.
Plan, organize and implement marketing actions, participate in Exhibitions and Conferences.
Collaborate with a multi-functional team based at the Swiss headquarter in Zurich.
Responsible for data accuracy, CRM, activity reports, proposals and shipping instruction.
Shaping strategy and proposal towards the top management.
Regular reporting on activities and business success Countries coverage: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Malta (countries might change depending on market trends).
Your profile Electrical, electronic or Chemistry background are preferred - further education and experience in Sales & Marketing is a plus.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a SMB, selling CAPEX, non-destructive testing devices.
Experience in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or Chemistry industry.
Proven track records in Sales, Business Development and Account management.
Distributor management experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, autonomously.
Proactive and able to work under pressure.
