BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
For the following regions: UK/Ireland, Benelux, Spain/Italy
We are looking for experienced and energetic Business Development Managers to join our rapidly growing team to help decarbonise transport through our technology. They will play a key role in accelerating the growth of FreeWire across the UK and Europe. Working with the Head of European Sales, they will be tasked with expanding the UK and European business by building on new and existing customer relationships to identify and deliver business opportunities in this fast-growing sector.
Responsibilities Manage and cultivate FreeWire partner and customer relationships working with FreeWire US and in-country teams
Identify customer needs and address concerns (including technical and economic analysis)
Support Head of European Sales to grow UK and European sales
Clearly define target customers with the greatest potential
Develop strong sales plans for key accounts and deliver key account management
Negotiate and structure sales agreements with customers and partners
Develop country-specific marketing materials working with FreeWire marketing team
Gather market and competitor intelligence in-country
Support FreeWire in-country operations team and operations partners
Support and lead in-country projects
Requirements Demonstrated track record in business development/sales experience
Demonstrated account management and relationship experience
Customer focused
Excellent working knowledge of EV charging business
Excellent commercial acumen with a good understanding of EV charging economics
Ability to pick up work in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build excellent relationships with peers globally
Entrepreneurial instincts with clear bias for informed action and track record of leading new initiatives with limited resource and support
Knowledge of transport and energy business preferred
5-10 years experience in a similar market development role
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in science, business or engineering
Initially home based with requirement for regular domestic and occasional international travel
