We are looking for a Business Development Manager for PMCs. Role description and responsibilitiesAnalyze the market to uncover opportunities and promote project management construction services, working closely with clients to oversee the entire project from inception to completion. These services can be provided across industries, including:Energy transition: Managing projects focused on shifting from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources (e.g., hydrogen) to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainabilityTraditional EPC: Overseeing and validating third-party contractors responsible for EPC to ensure project quality, compliance, and efficiencyDefine TR's value proposition in the sectorEngage with clients and maintain corporate relationships with key clientsDevelop connections with key licensors/OEMs and maintain corporate relationshipsSeek out potential partners that complement TR's capabilities and assist in market positioningEstablish TR's positioning, define the strategy, and support the bidding process, coordinating with other BDMs who provide complementary value (regional knowledge, service knowledge) and with the Proposals' DirectorsReport all commercial activities, from opportunity identification to contracting, through SalesforceBackground and experience+10 years of relevant experienceProven track record as a commercial manager with deep technical expertise in the engineering and construction industryExtensive experience executing or selling project management services such as PMCComprehensive knowledge of the energy industry, with a keen understanding of market drivers, trends and playersStrong commercial acumen with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, capable of building strong and durable client relationshipsDeep commercial network within the energy industry, particularly in the USHighly strategic and analytical thinkingAvailability for frequent travel, mostly within Europe, North America and Middle EastEducation: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in business and/or industrial/mechanical engineering or chemistry. Relevant experience would be accepted in-lieu of required education
