Geotab is seeking a Business Development Manager with a special focus on OEMs (Vehicle Manufacturers).
This role requires previous experience developing relations with OEMs as well as experience in the telematics field, having a great understanding of technical and business requirements.What you'll do: As a BDM OEM you will be responsible for the development and growth of new business relationships with OEMs (Cars, Vans, and Trucks as well as emerging EV-OEMs), providing vision for sales strategies and the associated execution plan.
This role will:Be the contact person for OEMs that collaborate with Geotab.Work with Geotab's sales departments to support the OEM opportunities.Act as a Geotab internal advocate and Subject Matter Expert for the OEM solutions.How you'll make an impact:Prospect, research, identify and hunt new business opportunities with OEMs.Create, evaluate, and implement strategic business plans for the growth and development of opportunities with the Spanish OEMs.Become the expert in the products and supporting processes available to Geotab's customers from OEM partners.Accelerate the growth of activations of OEM partner products within Spain by developing strong relationships with local Partner Account Management teams and their Partners.Monitor and update business development activity within associated tools and maintain a pipeline of activity through the development of partners, contracts, and resellers.Through outbound market research and analysis, establish relationships with new OEMs that fill a need, market segment, or a price point and that align with the vision and mission.Develop a deep knowledge base of the industry and maintain top-of-mind awareness of trends and shifts in the automotive industry.Stay informed on the current competitive landscape in the OEM arena including traditional OEMs and startups
