Job descriptionWe are looking for a business development professional to drive growth with Telcos in Sub-Saharan Africa. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Business Development to identify and present new business opportunities. You will lead the sales and commercial process, prepare compelling presentations and demonstrations of our services, and manage regular commercial discussions with Telcos.Key responsibilities include:1. Developing business with Telcos and carrier groups in Sub-Saharan Africa2. Identifying and presenting new business opportunities that drive incremental value3. Managing the sales/commercial process through to deal completion4. Preparing presentations and demonstrations of services, primarily direct carrier billing and digital content offerings5. Analyzing day-to-day results and coordinating internal teams to support commercial pitches and proposalsRequirements1. Minimum 2 years of sales experience in digital commerce/payments, especially mobile marketing/VAS2. Experience in (or partnering with) a Telco, payments, or content provider3. Excellent English communication skills (written, verbal, face-to-face presentation)4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to build business cases5. Proven ability to talk about technical solutions/integrations without being a technical expert6. A consultative style and partnership approach with external clients7.
