Our client develops, finances, builds and operates commercial and utility-scale solar PV projects across Europe, MENA, and APAC, and has successfully delivered over 2,000 solar photovoltaic infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesOriginate project opportunities and develop a pipeline of Battery Storage projects across Spain and Portugal.Lead deal contractual negotiations, structuring, and commercial relations with local co-developers for the origination of new projects pipeline, either at initial stages of development or at later stages.Effectively and professionally manage relationships with external stakeholders, including development partners, public entities (state, regional and local), legal and technical advisors, etc.Drive progress on the projects by coordinating different work-streams with other internal departments.Ensure economic viability of projects/pipeline opportunities.Significantly contribute to the definition of the company strategy across Iberia.RequirementsExperience in the following areas:Greenfield Development: Deep understanding of 'greenfield' development process for Solar PV power plants or Battery Storage projects (including site control, securing interconnection, permitting process, etc.). Good knowledge of associated business development costs.Solar PV / Battery Storage Technology: Demonstrated deep knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and costs (e.G., panels, BOS, EPC, O&M). Basic knowledge of ancillary technologies (e.G., batteries, T&D networks, hybrids, etc.) will be a plus.Additional RequirementsDegree educated in a relevant discipline.Team player.Strong analytical skills.Fluent in English.
