That tradition continues today and into the future as we carve new paths and help shape the future of our industry.About the Team & Business Line:The Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) business line provides a full suite of services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities and investment funds throughout their life cycle. Through our global office network and with award-winning technology, we support private market investors in private equity, private debt, real assets, and other asset classes. Our support helps clients meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry. The Sales Team for the AIFs business line generates new business opportunities by developing and maintaining a network of prospective clients and business partners including lawyers, tax advisors, accountants, and other industry stakeholders. The Sales Team also helps increase Citco's visibility in the market by attending conferences and other events and by creating relevant content together with the marketing team to demonstrate Citco's thought leadership. Within the Sales Team, teamwork is highly valued, actively encouraged, and recognized.About You:You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related field. At least 8 years of experience in the financial services industry with a working knowledge of alternative investment funds, the AIFMD, and cross-border investment structuring. Preferably, you have an existing network in the Iberian Market, which you can leverage to generate new business opportunities. Excellent communication, both verbal and written skills. Professional attitude and commercial affinity. Self-motivated, dedicated, professional, and with the ability to travel as necessary for business development meetings and/or events. You must work well in a team and actively ask support from, or offer it to, colleagues if and when needed.Your Role:Generate new business opportunities by developing and maintaining a network of contacts within the alternative investment fund industry in the Iberian Market, particularly in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private debt. Attend meetings, either alone or with colleagues, and take the lead presenting the Citco proposition. Serve as the primary local contact for existing key clients, maintaining and enhancing relationships to ensure client satisfaction. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services. Work together with the business intelligence team to conduct thorough market research on market trends and opportunities
