About VoiceMap VoiceMap is a global leader in the emerging market for self-guided audio tours with walks, cycles, drives and boat trips in over 65 countries. These are produced using our collaborative CMS, Mapmaker, which combines editorial support with a unique process that has given us a reputation for quality. Our apps for iOS and Android have thousands of five star reviews, as do the tours themselves, and we plan to offer ten times as many of them – along with a number of related products – all with a focus on giving people easy, engaging ways to see the world around them from new, surprising, and sometimes challenging perspectives.
Working Arrangements Ideally, this is a hybrid position, with two to three days a week at our offices in Valencia, Spain, or Cape Town, South Africa. But exceptional candidates will be considered for fully remote positions as long as working hours align with Central European Time.
The Role You'll drive VoiceMap's growth by securing and managing strategic partnerships that expand our global footprint. Working directly with our founder and product team, you'll identify opportunities for large-scale tour creation and distribution partnerships. Our existing publishers include the San Francisco Chronicle, Oxford University, the V&A Waterfront, Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture, and Mandarin Oriental's hotels in Hong Kong and Tokyo. 
Success in this role means bringing on more partners who can create dozens of tours across multiple destinations - like Context Travel, which has published 76 VoiceMap tours in about 18 months - while also developing innovative partnerships that integrate audio tours into new environments and experiences.
Key Responsibilities Identify and secure partnerships across multiple sectors, including tourism organisations (DMOs, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, OTAs), cultural institutions, media and entertainment companies, technology platforms, smart city initiatives, and location-based businesses.Develop and negotiate partnership agreements that drive tour creation, distribution, and innovative integrationsCreate compelling business cases demonstrating how audio tours can enhance partner offeringsDrive partner onboarding and expansion strategies to meet ambitious growth targetsIdentify opportunities for co-marketing, distribution, and technology integrationMaintain a healthy pipeline of partnership opportunities using HubSpot CRMDevelop and track partnership KPIs, including pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and revenue forecastsCreate and manage systematic processes for partnership outreach, qualification, and closingProduce regular reports on partnership pipeline health and revenue projections Required Experience and Skills 5+ years of business development experience in travel, media, technology, or related industriesProven track record of securing and managing strategic partnerships with major organisationsExisting relationships with decision-makers across relevant industriesExperience negotiating complex partnership agreementsStrong understanding of the digital experience landscape and emerging trendsProven experience managing a robust pipeline using CRM software, particularly HubSpotStrong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline and revenue targetsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain systematic processes for partnership developmentExperience with partnership revenue forecasting and pipeline analytics building on a data-driven approach to pipeline management and opportunity qualificationExceptional communication and presentation skillsFluency in English required, additional languages are a plus How to Apply If you have a track record of building strategic partnerships and are excited about transforming how people experience the world, please don't just click on apply!
