In this role you will have a clear platform, great support and training - autonomously taking on the challenges: To serve the business sectors manufacturers and system builders, your range of tasks is large and the customer constantly in focus. You will prospect and visit owners, engineering offices and contractors and installers in order to promote the company's systems and products. As a result of this, you are having a very diverse customer contact. Next to following new and existing projects in the market through regular customer visits and networking you also insure the necessary training to both customers and partners, end users and so on. In other words, the great service can only get provided through combining technology, technical expertise and business.
The Role As an OEM Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for profitably increasing the sales and market share that Flowtec holds in these disciplines. This will be accomplished by a thorough understanding of our OEM value stream, Flowtec use in those systems by utilizing the Flowtec Sales Team Strategy and Goals & Objectives process.
What you will do • Develop and implement a yearly business plan consistent with the team strategy that achieves market, product, and profitability targets through a uniform, project and account driven goals & objectives process that has our Salesforce as its basis of information, operation, and communication.
• Establishing project and account priorities through a thorough review of the major owners in each segment.
• Coordinate with line sales and regional management in the territory to maximize business results in a collaborative team effort.
• Target a designated and agreed upon number of accounts. Progress with the target accounts will be measured and reported on through the specification development program.
• Complete account development is defined by designing and implementing a strategy to sell the complete line of Flowtec products.
• Strategic planning for all OEM sales in a territory will be in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
• Be updated of market trends, competition, pricing, and new products.
About You • University / College degree, preferably as a mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent.
• Previous mechanical piping, or related sales experience required (minimum 5 years).
• Familiarity with the piping business - or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
• You have commercial feeling and ambition and a customer-oriented approach.
• Result-driven - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing challenges. Competitive, flexible, resilient by nature.
• Willing to travel as required (up to 75%).
• Has strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish language. Knowledge of any other language is an asset.

Requirements for candidates: Helping customers to find the right technical solution and conducting training courses and seminars requires an engineering background.Previous experience in manufacturers and system builders experience is a plus.You must have an understanding of how the construction sector operates.As a well-rounded individual you have no problem working independently and know to prioritize your time to become successful in this role.You are a self-starter, striving to be the best.As you are interacting with a diverse customer base, you are strong in developing relationships with manufacturers and system builders at all levels.You must be prepared to travel throughout your region.
