Reporting directly to the Business Development Corporate Director, the Business Development Manager will provide project management support to evaluate organic expansion and M&A opportunities and other finance initiatives at a global level and with the Investment Fund, lead capital investment proposals as part of the organic expansion, and support the execution of growth strategies ensuring the alignment with the company's global strategic priorities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Act as project manager and support key business development projects.Research, track and report the competitive environment in the K12 Education sector.Support the pipeline management, both M&A and Organic Expansion projects.Participate actively in new acquisitions' project management, including due diligence, contractual documentation, and integration processes.Develop business plans, model scenarios to evaluate future acquisition targets, and support the presentation of opportunities to senior management and the investment fund.Lead capital investment proposals and monitor performance against plan, acting as a business partner of operators, developing the financial model and supporting the presentation of opportunities to senior management and the investment fund.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDUniversity degree (finance or economics preferred), MBA or other postgraduate financial qualification would be an advantage.Minimum of 5 to 7 years' relevant experience required.Experience in M&A or Transaction Services project management.Solid knowledge and understanding of valuation concepts, financial theory, and general accounting.Excellent financial modeling skills and exceptional attention to detail.Experience and achievements demonstrate superior critical thinking and analytical math skills, with an aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis.Experience in effective research methods, data modeling, and reporting.Able to draw conclusions and recommend actions, involving situations/issues even with incomplete information.Able to take initiative, work both independently and in team environments. Hands-on, team worker and proactive person with a strategic mindset.
