Position Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who will play a crucial role in identifying suitable business opportunities and supporting their sales and product teams in building a robust pipeline.
This role will have a global scope, requiring a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a proven track record in business development and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Main Responsibility Areas: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities globally to drive growth and expand market presence.
Support the sales and product teams in developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business initiatives.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners.
Track and report on business development activities, including pipeline status, conversion rates, and key performance metrics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent the company's Software Solutions and identify potential business leads.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market demands to ensure their offerings remain competitive.
Key Skills & Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the software or technology industry.
Strong understanding of market research, analysis, and strategic planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market opportunities and business potential.
Ability to travel globally as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
