DescriptionBusiness Development ManagerMonday to Friday: 9am to 5.30pmLocation: Vicálvaro, MadridSalary: 35,000 up to 40,000 basic (depending on experience) + OTE As a Business Development Manager, you are the face of Huboo responsible for building long-lasting relationships with clients that will benefit from our services.You will be focused and ambitious, taking a continuous improvement approach to become an expert in eCommerce, logistics and your allocated industry vertical while using your business development experience to consistently drive new business.As a BDM, you are expected to support others in the business who are less experienced, such as Business Development Executives and act as a mentor as well as demonstrating leadership skills and set an example of excellence in the office, living the Huboo values every day.You will build relationships with other functions in the business, such as Marketing, to act as an advocate for your clients, increase leads and attract new business as well as contributing to team meetings and identifying ways we can learn from today to improve tomorrow.Key responsibilities for our Business Development Manager:Becoming an expert in your industry and allocated verticalHunting, discovering and pursuing new sales prospectsEnsuring that all inbound and outbound activity is completed to a desired standardConduct research to identify new markets, customer needs and your own leadsArrange business meetings with cold prospective clientsPreparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients both virtually and in personResponding to tenders and requests for pricingDelivering dashboard demonstrations to ensure the customer has a full understanding of how this worksMaintaining excellent CRM records (in Salesforce) to ensure all customers data is accurateContinuously hitting new revenues targets through an excellent customer journey and well executed sales deliveryCreating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clientsWorking within your allocated client tiersGenerating new business by attending events, expos, or trade shows in line with your verticalRequirementsRole specific capabilities and behaviours for our Business Development Manager:Worked in a KPI led roleFluent in English & SpanishProven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a sales role within one of the following industries: Fulfilment, B2B SaaS sales, RecruitmentAbility to sell to multiple stakeholders and identify decision makersAbility to expand clients into new markets across the globe as Huboo expandsExposure / experience with e-commerce or logistics is desirable but not a requirementExperience and a desire to work in consultative salesThe ability to work independently and support your department and peersExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsGreat problem-solving skills with a creative edge!The ability to build strong relationships, listen and understand what makes people tickA continuous improvement mindset and attitude; we do not want someone who will settle for the status quo, new ideas are certainly encouraged!Excellent ability to self-motivate and the desire to achieve great resultsCommercially astuteBenefitsWhat do we offer for a Business Development Manager?Monday – Friday 37.5 hours - 9am - 5:30pm25 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays)Free on-site parkingExcellent working environment in our European offices.Opportunities for personal development and exposure to a variety of challenges.Casual dress codeRegular company social eventsFree hot drinks and fresh fruit/healthy snacksHuboo Radio – our very own radio station!Huboo's skills and values applicable to our Business Development Manager:Integrity: Fairness is really important at Huboo.
