The Business Development Manager will assist in driving the overall regional business development direction including region-based market intelligence, region-based demand generation activities in close coordination with the Business Development Director, Regional commercial teams and Marketing.
Focus area is Spain, however a holistic EMEA view and cross border alignment/networking with other peers is also relevant.

Lead, own and execute on regional lead-generation campaigns to augment the sales pipeline and foster lead conversion, linked to a strong professional network and close interaction with external Consultant companies.
Establish, manage and continuously improve the overall lead generation process for the region using Salesforce as the global lead management tool.
Help the leadership design, develop and execute the growth strategy including the elements of 3-Year forward looking strategic planning processes (e.g., go-to-market plans, customer analysis, etc.).
Own and drive the regional competitive positioning, including insights about customer priorities and future ambitions; evaluate implications and tune this further in close collaboration with the regional sales teams.
Develop and orchestrate the initial contact with prospects/customers, help with preparing and presenting customer presentations and ensuring the provision of up-to-date product and market information.
Manage relationship with industry specific associations and develop external messaging/value-proposition.
Carry out business intelligence activities by collecting and analyzing information regarding the market, sales channels, and competitors.
Have sufficient technical know-how of our Solutions to develop a customer in a consultative way towards an RFP that fits customer demands and matches our capabilities.
Requirements: 8+ years of successful experience in leading and driving business development/market development/regional based growth development.
Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree.
Technical education is required.
Experience in sales and/or business development in a B2B service-oriented industry.
Team player, able to interact frequently within the local sales teams to sync with outbound lead gen efforts.
Experienced in Warehouse Automation solutions and the capability to support the customer in consultative concepting.
Having an existing extensive local professional network towards Warehouse Automation customers and consultants.
Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures for area managed and basic knowledge of other areas in the company.
Diligent in data accuracy, pro-active in development ideas.
A very strong team player who thinks local but also syncs on EMEA level.
Experienced in Spanish and English.
