Getronics seeks a proven leader to fill a critical leadership role.
To support our growth plans, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition, sales strategy, and execution of our smart spaces business while overseeing a growing team.
You should be hands-on, open to learning, and ready to take on new challenges with the highest integrity.
You will develop, build, and coach top sales talent.
You will be measured by and expected to achieve agreed sales goals.
What will you do?
Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
Promote the company's products/services by addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Run the business unit like a business owner and be responsible for the P&L of the smart spaces business unit.
Take on a proactive leadership role to groom sales personnel in the growing smart spaces team.
Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
Discover and explore business opportunities.
Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities.
Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
Examine risks and potentials for business opportunities.
Estimate partners' needs and goals.
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Enhance the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Which experience/skills are we looking for?
Individuals who embody our values of humility, compassion, teamwork above isolationism, respectfulness, integrity, and good-natured fun.
Proven track record in business development and sales – experience in the built environment is a plus.
A motivated salesperson with a desire to achieve high growth in the business.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to senior-level executives.
Excellent business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, independence, and results-driven attitude.
IoT/IT background preferred but not required.
Which qualifications/certifications do you need to have?
Graduation is a must.
