Business Development External Relations Leader

.Location: Barcelona, Spain (On-site): We require 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home. Please apply with an English Resume Introduction to role: As the Business Development External Relations Leader, you'll play a key role in delivering our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives. You will support the delivery of all prioritized external partnership support, ensuring flawless logistics to strengthen AstraZeneca's oncology R&D position and reach in the oncology pharmaceutical industry. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Development team and external C-suite executives. What you'll do: Support and own the end-to-end accountability to deliver on the prioritized external partnership and investor meetings (face-to-face/virtual/hybrid). Lead all aspects of the external partner relationship life cycle. Liaise with internal/external C-suite stakeholders, ensuring consistent, appropriate corporate presence to position AstraZeneca as a partner of choice within the industry. Build and own project plans, handle attendees, logistics, event agendas, and provide on-site support. Provide strong project management with effective communication and collaboration across all levels, both internal and external, with the ability to work across time zones (some early morning/late evenings or weekends will be required).
