We are forecasting aggressive revenue growth and to successfully scale our business and deliver our plan, we aim to widen and professionalise the way we work with partners. Europe is a key geography for Auctane and we have high growth ambitions in the next few years. We are looking for someone with a proven ability to spearhead business growth through exploring and closing new partners opportunities, growing our footprint and market share through key partnerships. To achieve that goal, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Director, with a strong business mind and a knack for organisation and collaboration, reporting directly to the Senior Director, Business Development for EMEA.
What would I be doing?
Developing and implementing business development strategies and activities, in line with the Group's overall strategy.
Keeping abreast of market trends, industry events, competitors, and potential partners' needs and organisations in order to pursue growth opportunities.
Travelling frequently, maintaining rapport with potential partners, and networking extensively outside of the office to develop business relationships.
Negotiating ambitious growth partnerships with key partners (ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, etc).
Responsible for new business development results and achieving EBV targets.
What key skills and experience do I need?
Strong business acumen that enables him/her to seek out new growth opportunities.
Proven experience in ecommerce / B2B business development.
Strong decision-making capabilities (prioritisation) and influencing skills to align functions.
Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans.
