Position Overview We are seeking a Business Development Associate with a hunter mentality to join our dynamic, international sales team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving outbound sales efforts, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to CommonShare's continued growth.
You will partner with sustainability professionals and supply chain leaders across diverse industries to showcase how our software solution can help them improve their sustainable supply chain practices.
Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting Proactively identify, research, and reach out to potential customers across multiple industries Conduct outbound calling and emailing campaigns to engage prospects and schedule product demonstrations Maintain a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities Sales Outreach & Communication Clearly articulate CommonShare's value proposition to key decision-makers in sustainability, procurement, and supply chain management Use consultative selling techniques to understand prospects' pain points and tailor solutions to their needs Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align outreach campaigns with overall brand and market positioning Pipeline Management Track all leads, prospects, and customer interactions using HubSpot Provide accurate forecasting and ensure timely follow-ups Work with the sales leadership to set and exceed monthly and quarterly targets Collaboration & Feedback Collaborate with the Product and Customer Success teams to relay customer insights and help refine product features Support the creation of sales collateral and case studies Provide market feedback to drive continuous improvement in our product and sales strategies Relationship Building Nurture relationships with potential clients throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a smooth handover to the implementation teams after closing deals Establish credibility as a trusted advisor to clients seeking sustainable supply chain solutions Requirements Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in SaaS sales or a related business development role Proven track record in outbound prospecting and lead generation (hunter mentality) Skill Set: Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must Proficiency with HubSpot (or similar CRM tools) is highly desirable Additional language skills (French, Spanish, German) are strongly preferred Domain Knowledge: Interest or experience in sustainability, supply chain management, or related fields is a plus Location & Timezone: Based in Barcelona or able to work remotely on CET hours Ability to collaborate with a global team across multiple time zones Soft Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication and presentation skills Self-starter mentality with a results-driven approach Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact What We Offer Competitive Compensation: Base salary plus a commission structure aligned with sales performance Growth Opportunities: A chance to develop your career in a rapidly growing and mission-driven SaaS company Global Team: Work with a diverse, international team of professionals committed to making a real impact Flexible Work Environment: The option to work remotely in the CET timezone or from our office in Barcelona Purpose-Driven Culture: Join a team dedicated to driving sustainability and social responsibility
