Job Description
Eurofins BioPharma Business Line is a global, premium-class contract research organization (CRO) covering the whole chain of drug development including the preclinical and clinical phases with focus on Early Development, Central Laboratory Services and Biopharmaceutical Product Testing. Within this International Business line, BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) spans the complete product development cycle by performing analyses at every stage: API & impurities analysis, stability studies, method development and validation, packaging testing (suitability, protection, sterility), cleaning validation, environmental documentation, sterility testing and hygiene monitoring, for small and large molecules. The global network of our local subsidiaries in Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, Slovakia, Israel, Greece and the USA guarantees an industry leading range of methods, high capacity, the highest standards in our harmonized QA system and outstanding performance with low turn-around times.
Business Development & Account Manager will contribute to the significant growth of the Biopharma Product Testing business in Spain & Portugal by:
Designing and implementing business development strategy in the given territory based on the business strengths and needs unique to the region.Collaborating with the leadership on the strategy execution to meet the business growth objectives, structure new deals and build upon existing business relationships.Strengthening the market position by creating, nurturing, and closing new business relationships to ensure consistent and rapid growth in sales.Screening the market potential by analyzing direct competitors, identifying potential targets, and evaluating opportunities to convert generated leads to clients and bring the new business effectively to the Group.Developing existing accounts to increase their value for the organization by upselling and cross-selling activities.Participating in congresses, seminars, and industry events to increase the brand visibility and recognition.Collaborating with cross-functional teams on materials and tools to support new business opportunities and to promote the Eurofins brand.Acquiring further market knowledge by identifying and monitoring industry trends, customers drivers, major industry players and main decision makers.Performing other duties as required and assigned. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or higher or Engineering degree from a reputable institution.At least 3 years of professional experience in sales or business development, preferably in pharmaceutical outsourcing companies (CMOs, CDMOs), or consultancies and GMP validation companies.Proven track record of success which demonstrates the growth progress throughout years of experience.Ability to design, develop and execute business development strategy to contribute to the strategic direction of the business and meet the growth objectives.Excellence in establishing and nurturing internal and external relationships, across all levels.Customer-centric approach demonstrating that clients and their needs are a priority.Strong aggressive business development skills with a hunter and winning mentality, drive for results, proactive and can-do attitude, especially in driving footprint in new areas, with new clients.Ability to navigate in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly complex environment, to handle ambiguity, to manage change and uncertainty.Adaptability and willingness to communicate in a multicultural environment and work as a strong team player.Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, both externally and internally.Excellent language skills (verbal and written) in English.Secure use of IT solutions (MS Office, CRM software).
