Role Overview:
As a Business Developer at Visual Architects, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by proactively identifying and qualifying leads, building lasting client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from prospecting to delivery. Your expertise in strategic thinking, market awareness, and relationship management will fuel the sales pipeline and contribute to the company's success.
We are looking for a business developer based primarily in Barcelona that will be working remotely in Barcelona.
Right at the beginning of your employment you will be asked to work in our UK HQ for training purposes and after that you will be based remotely in Barcelona in a small team.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and pursue potential leads to expand the sales pipeline through platforms like LinkedIn, Google, and social media. Self-manage outreach efforts via various channels, including social media, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), email, and telephone. Cultivate and nurture relationships with prospects, identifying client needs during initial meetings and ensuring seamless handovers to Account Managers. Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to qualify leads and facilitate distribution to the delivery team. Monitor and manage HubSpot inquiries to optimise lead generation and follow-ups. Leverage strategic thinking and market insight to identify new opportunities and adapt approaches to industry trends. Stay updated with Visual Architects' themes and source suitable clients that align with our offerings. Re-engage past clients with new themes and follow up with "lost" clients for constructive feedback. Attend industry events and conferences to build networks and generate new business. Maintain detailed records of outreach and engagement activities in CRM software for tracking and reporting purposes. Key Qualifications: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, ideally in the events or creative industry. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for relationship-building. Strong organisational skills and self-discipline to manage multiple outreach channels effectively. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and online prospecting platforms such as LinkedIn and Google. Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of market trends and dynamics. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment. Willingness to travel to attend events and meet potential clients.
