Tasks and Responsibilities:Sales Operations Strategy Development: Align growth target of business to key accounts. Be the primary point of contact for the account, understand account requirements, pipeline and develop and grow the account. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to sales operations; define metrics for measuring success.CRM Management & Analytics: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a CRM system to support sales activities within clinical trials sourcing. Utilize CRM data to generate insights on customer behavior, market trends, pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting, and other key sales metrics.Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes within clinical trials sourcing, including lead generation, lead qualification, opportunity management, proposal development, contract negotiation, and order processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Strategic Sourcing) to ensure alignment between sales processes and overall commercial activities.Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking: Develop regular reporting mechanisms to track performance against sales targets, KPIs within clinical trials sourcing projects. Provide insights on performance trends, identify areas for improvement; propose actionable recommendations based on data analysis.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Project Management, Strategic Sourcing, Clinical Operations to ensure seamless integration between Operations activities and overall commercial efforts within clinical trials sourcing projects. Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Strategic Sourcing Managers) to understand project needs/timelines; align resources accordingly.Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sales operations function; propose changes aimed at optimizing efficiency/effectiveness through automation/digitization where applicable.Contract Management Support: Work closely with the Sales team during contract negotiation/execution by providing support in gathering necessary information/documentation related to pricing agreements, terms/conditions specific to clinical trials sourcing contracts.
