Right now, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller with financial business understanding to Global Sales Operations - a team thoroughly monitoring and caring for our customer support operations.

What your job is about:
Your main purpose is to contribute to our efforts to reach the overall operational and financial goals within our Global Sales Operations team as well as supporting our Global Sales as required. You provide the management team with financial and operational information; enabling them to make the right business-critical decisions. You support the execution of key activities and ensure the performance of the finance and business control departments. To participate in the development of business strategies and plans, including business performance management, KPI development and implementation, modeling, analysis, and comments on financial implications is an important part of your assignment.

Your responsibilities include:

Follow up on business plans and processes actions in partnership with the various Sales Operations defined regions and monitor the financial results versus plans.
Driving monthly performance business reviews within the Global Sales Operations teams.
Preparation and distribution of all required financial and management reports, including analysis and follow-up on actual results versus budget and prior periods.
Preparing the annual operating budget, rolling forecasts, and ad hoc business plans where you lead the instructions and guidance for local entities ensuring that the process follows compliantly.
Ensuring the efficient functioning, identifying needs, and developing all accounting and financial control systems.
Interpreting, implementing, and developing financial operating policies and provide audits of commercial processes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

You are a key member of the Global Sales Operations Senior Leadership Management team. The location for this position is flexible between one of our European Sales Operations facilities, with a preference for Madrid, Spain, or Katowice, Poland. Global travel is included in your job.

Your background and characteristics:
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent knowledge gained from work. You have proven experience in building, developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing professional accounting team. Knowledge in SAP and its process is required in this position, and you are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience working in a matrix environment is a must, and we expect an interest in new digital solutions while knowledge in Power BI and Microsoft CRM is a plus.

A service sector-related background and experience in operations is a plus. Acting in a global setting calls for fluency in English, verbally and in writing.
