Business Controller

From Melt Group we are looking for a Business Controller for an international company in the packaging sector located in Paterna.

It is a multinational corporation with production sites distributed around the world, engaged in manufacturing its products from recycled plastic, consistently prioritizing responsibility towards its partners, employees, and the environment.

Responsibilities: Conduct volume analysis, perform price analysis, and undertake margin analysis. Proactively identify and address weak spots in sales performance. Conduct comprehensive market and competition analysis to inform strategic decisions. Analyse the product portfolio to streamline offerings and improve profitability. Regularly review and analyse the order book to ensure alignment with sales targets and forecasts. Participate in target-setting and prepare detailed sales forecasts and budgets. Oversee and control sales overhead costs to optimize efficiency and profitability. Perform monthly analysis of Cost of Goods Sold to manage and improve gross earnings. Analyse and manage the financial implications of new product development projects. Pricing management and strategy development Validate and manage pricelists regularly. Prepare project pricing, quotations, and open book calculations. Support key account price negotiations. Oversee SAP pricing calculations. Develop and optimize pricing strategies for IT systems and market applications. Requirements: Degree in Business Administration, ideally with emphasis on Controlling, Accounting, and Finance. Expertise in Commercial Controlling. International company experience, preferably in a matrix organization. Proficiency in MS Office, excellent Excel skills, and familiarity with BI Tools. Ideally familiar with SAP FI/CO and SD modules. Fluent in both written and spoken English and German. Willingness to undertake occasional business travel. Possession of a car driving license. Result and solution-oriented with strong service orientation. Structured, systematic, and accurate in approach. Excellent commercial acumen and strong analytical skills. Numerate with the ability to manage large data sets logically. Initiative-taking, dynamic, and persistent with a positive attitude. Resolute, trustworthy, and a collaborator with intercultural competency.
