The business controller provides the Finance Director and the Management team with valuable reports and insights into the business to support operational and strategic decision making.
You are responsible for preparing, developing, analyzing information, and delivering high-quality reports providing insight into key business drivers.
Mainly focusing on the wholesale activity and stock control of the region, you are responsible for providing the regional organization with information for sales, KPIs, margin management, and cost control.
In addition to the Wholesale P&L management, you are also responsible for stock reconciliation and following the Logistics and IT budget.
Delivers business analysis and reporting to the group in line with global guidelines. Works closely with regional management, supporting with information and insights, identifying opportunities, and evaluating risks.
Key Responsibilities: Perform and share sales analyses by market, channel, and profit center.
Perform and share margin analysis.
Prepare and distribute cost follow-up reports to all cost center owners.
Prepare and submit group reporting (monthly closing) on time and in line with group instructions.
Prepare financial performance presentations for regional and local management.
Perform monthly analysis with variation explanation on the P&L in your respective area (vs LY, Budget, and Forecast).
Execute forecast and budget processes.
Work closely with the regional and local management to interpret information, find opportunities, and identify risks, being a business partner.
Build financial business understanding in the organization.
Partner with wholesale retail and e-com management to conduct consumer analysis and build consumer understanding.
Analyze working capital development, optimal levels, and drive control and optimization.
