That's why we're looking for you!Business Controller here is where your challenge startsWe are looking for an experienced Business Controller with a focus on Ticketing and IT to strengthen the Group Finance team. This role is pivotal in the strategy of Stage Entertainment to in-house ticketing and to further professionalize IT across the Group. The Group Finance team has nine team members and reports to the CFO. The Business Controller Ticketing & IT reports to the Director Group Control with dotted lines to the Group Director Ticketing and Group IT Director.Stage Entertainment has decided to change its approach towards ticketing, moving from a full-service ticketing provider to run its ticketing operation in-house. Customer centricity is a key element in Stage Entertainment's growth strategy to drive its business forward. Building in-house ticketing capabilities will allow the company to further expand its customer base and reach new customers by offering them an even more tailored experience and superior service. This will also allow it to further align to the needs of its Sales partners.This strategic and very exciting project requires strong business controlling support and financial expertise to optimize financial processes like invoicing, settlement, reconciliation, and integration into Workday Finance.Considering the above, this role is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who enjoys (pro-)actively contributing to designing and building organization and processes and being involved in a strategic key project from the start which will also create future opportunities.Responsibilities:Key activities are amongst others:Monitor actual costs versus business case and update business case.Monthly reporting of financials to the Stage Management Board (CEO, CFO, and COO).Prepare quarterly re-forecasts and annual budget.Financial scenario analysis to support decision-making.Identify and realize cost efficiencies and savings.Coordinate, inform, and when needed challenge key stakeholders.Process and controls design and implementation (for example: invoicing, settlement, and reconciliation).Set-up and maintain financial data model and project-specific business processes in Workday Finance.Supplier management (for example: selection and purchasing including purchase orders).Monitor compliance with Group policies (like Group Authorization Policy).Support the annual Group audit and Advance internal audits.Qualifications and experience:We are looking for a candidate that fits the following profile:Financial professional with 6-8 years of experience.Experience in business control including reporting to various stakeholders.Experience in process and control design and review.Eye for detail but also able to take a helicopter view.Strong analytical skills.Strong Excel skills and preferable experience with Workday Finance.Work experience in an international setting and fluent in English.Good communicator both verbal and in writing (including presentations).Team player.This is a full-time position.
