Janssen Spain has an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Department as Business Controller, based in Spain.As a key member of the Janssen Spain Finance Leadership team, the Business Controller will deliver strategic value-adding Finance support to the Spanish Hematology Therapeutic Area. The Spain Business Controller will be responsible for the development, execution, management, and follow-up of Spanish financial strategies and action plans, as well as the development of a Business Plan and Long-Range Financial Plan (LRFP) to maximize the value of the Janssen portfolio over the long term. The Business Controller is specifically responsible for Financial Analysis, Resource Allocation, Latest Thinking & Forecast Updates, as well as for the implementation of SigniFi in Spain.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering and LeadershipBuild in-depth knowledge of brand/product strategy, pipeline, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.Develop strong relationships with key business partners at country level with the Board, Franchise Director, the County Value Team (CVT), BI, HEMAR, MAF, and other Functional Leads.Strategic business partnering to help drive growth of the TA in Spain.Support the CVT in driving the TA commercial strategy and play an advisory role for launch products (resource allocation).Finance leader to support innovative product launches with complex agreements and outcome-based schemes within the Haematology TA.Business partner to the areas of Legal, MAF, and PMO.Finance LeadershipStrong contribution to the development of the LRFP, Business Plan, updates, and quarterly latest estimate cycles.Actively contribute to developing Spain Strategies, including resource allocation.As a special project, contribute to the implementation of the SigniFi J&J finance transformation project in Spain by ensuring alignment, communication, and coordination between Spain Finance team and EMEA Regional Finance team.Net Trade Sales and Operating Expenses planning and performance analysis and challenge, identify risks/opportunities.Responsibility for the Spain Legal P&L including partnering with CTC, JBS, and GS.People ManagementProvides people leadership to the Spain Finance Department in a high performing, positive and engaging working environment.Actively collaborates with the other TA controllers as well as with other countries' controllers and EMEA Regional Team.QualificationsUniversity Degree & recognized professional financial qualifications.Exceptional financial and analytical skills.Minimum 5-7 years of relevant working experience, experience collaborating with senior management, business, and functional leaders.Strong collaborative, framing & communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven business partnering capabilities.Passion for people and their development.Ability to influence/impact decisions, collaborate and build trust amongst senior business leaders, direct reports, and finance colleagues.Proven experience as a Finance Leader in a large, multinational and matrix organization.Pharmaceutical industry know-how is a plus with knowledge of health care systems.Strong interpersonal skills, team player mentality, and collaborative working style.Excellent communication, influencing, and framing skills.Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity in periods of change.Very good stress control and high sense of urgency.Controlled risk-taking capacity.Advanced Excel skills.Fluent in Spanish and English.Location: Spain.For more than 130 years, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) have been part of our cultural fabric at Johnson & Johnson and woven into how we do business every day.
