Job Summary
The WWC DEI team is seeking a Business Analyst to join the team.
This role will provide data and analytics to Global DEI Business Partners in supporting their businesses.
The role links with other data teams to provide analytics using confidential data that drives inclusion and equity in the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Analytics to DEI BP to support global business partners in implementing DEI into all Amazon processes.
- Turn over rocks to uncover and drive unanticipated outcomes.
- Analyze key business metrics to drive business insight.
- Acquire various data sources to enable holistic analysis at a global level.
- Build various data visualizations to tell the story and let the data speak for itself.
Provide metrics/decks for internal use and for business partners.
- Perform and present business analysis in easily digestible standard reports.
Design queries, compile data, and generate reports in QuickSight and Excel.
- Excellent writing skills, to create artifacts easily digestible by business partners.
- Partner with our Research and Business Intelligence team to provide business insights using data and translate business problems into requirements for analysis.
- Revolutionize the stakeholder experience within our reports.
- Help us move from merely "reporting the news" to automating the action plan.
- Have a broad understanding of the data available in both traditional and non-traditional sources, allowing access to new levels of analysis.
- Run basic regression methods (e.g., linear, logistic, basic time series) and identify opportunities to leverage more advanced modeling methods.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze key business metrics to drive business insight.
- Track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience of engaging customer-facing programs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and strong negotiation skills.
- Develop strong relationships across teams.
- Highly organized individual who also wants to have fun building new products and services across geographies.
- Ability to self-direct, multitask, and prioritize a constantly evolving workload.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
- Significant years of work experience in a Business Analyst role and/or Statistics role.
- Strong knowledge of coding or query languages with proficiency in SQL.
- 2+ years of experience with the usage of third-party tools like Tableau, Excel, and/or other data visualization tools like QuickSight.
This role can be based in Madrid, Barcelona, Munich, Germany, London, or Berlin.
