Founded in 1872 in Japan, Shiseido is one of the top leading cosmetics companies in the world, operating in about 120 countries with 46,000 employees of 70 nationalities, offering a unique selection of skin care, makeup, and fragrance resulting in over 1 trillion yen of net sales in 2018.ORGANISATIONReports to: Controlling & Planning ManagerJob Location: Pozuelo de AlarcónContract type: Permanent Contract, 40 hours per weekMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES• Supporting the teams with data analysis, harmonizing tools across the business to ensure simplification and faster decisions.• Gather, review, and analyze business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports, and other key metrics using data analytics tools.• Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.• Determine risks and opportunities of the business.• Establish good working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders and further develop partnerships.• Ensure the flow of information (files, processes, SharePoint, BPC) with the rest of the departments and with international headquarters.REPORTING & ANALYSIS• Provide reporting and analysis.• Provide data and analytical support for presentations and business reviews.• Create ad-hoc measures and reports as required/requested to support analysis.• Help derive key strategic insights from the myriad data types that are available.• Assist in the identification and development of business opportunities through analysis and interpretation of consumer, customer, and market data.• Competency in Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.• Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional efforts in the market, developing a ROI culture.• Become a data owner ensuring end-to-end accuracy on key deliverables.PROFILE• Fluency in English.• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with 2-3 years' experience.• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills.• Detail-oriented, ability to roll up the sleeves and work on multiple projects.• Continuous improvement mindset.• Willing and motivated to face issues and difficulties.
