Area of Expertise: Operations Unit: Allianz Partners Employing Entity: ALLIANZ PARTNERS Job Type: Full-Time Remote Job: Hybrid working Employment Type: Permanent ID: 43223 Non-Executive Business Analyst for Finance and Payment Key responsibilities This Business Analyst (BA) position consists of collecting, analyzing and validating the business requirements, translating business requirements for IT developments and evaluating the technical feasibility with IT support, following the IT implementation, supporting the stakeholder during the test phase.
Through this role, you will focus mainly on the following activities: Gather and document comprehensive business requirements for finance and payment solutions, considering stakeholder needs and industry standards.
Coordinate with IT teams to design and implement payment and finance integration solutions with existing systems and platforms.
Conduct thorough feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed payment initiatives, business systems integration with finance back office, evaluating technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and potential risks.
Collaborate with the scrum team to provide valuable insights and feedback from support interactions, contributing to the enhancement of OnePay, finance integration products and services.
Implement tools and systems to streamline support workflows, analyze support trends to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor transactional data to detect fraud, anomalies, and trends, and implement strategies to mitigate risk.
Develop and implement robust processes and procedures for handling payment-related inquiries, issues, and escalations from both internal and external stakeholders.
Design and implement harmonized integration layers between business (policy and claims administration) systems and finance back office including reconciliation processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex payment-related issues, as well as accounting challenges (supporting financial closing periods), coordinating with scrum team and PSP to ensure timely resolution.
Stay informed about regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices related to payment support operations, ensuring adherence at all times.
Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on OnePay and Integration layer, and support technical Q&A workshops.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of payment solutions and identify opportunities for optimization.
Analyze current payment processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Monitor metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of financial flow aggregation to keep lean and consistent ledgers.
Identify opportunities for optimization.
What you bring Minimum of 4 years of experience in payment processing or related field.
Knowledge of payment technologies, including payment gateways, card networks, PSPs, and digital payment solutions.
Knowledge of tangible application design, of operational architecture, and of enterprise architectural topics.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD3 and AML/KYC regulations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
Understanding of requirements, analyzing and evaluating technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness.
Familiarity with Agile methodology.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
