Their technology powers more seamless, safe and sustainable air travel.About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with an understanding of sustainability initiatives and IT systems ideally in the aeronautic field. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, defining, and supporting the development of IT tools designed to drive and monitor sustainability efforts of our customers. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical insight, and a passion for environmental sustainability.Key Duties:Requirement Gathering & Analysis:• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, sustainability goals, and current challenges.• Conduct interviews to gather detailed requirements for the IT tool.• Translate initiatives and goals into functional and non-functional requirements.Process Mapping & Documentation:• Develop detailed process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories to guide the development team.• Create comprehensive documentation, including requirements specifications, user manuals, and training materials.Solution Design & Development Support:• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure alignment with sustainability objectives.• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the tool is user-friendly and meets the needs of all stakeholders.Continuous Improvement:• Monitor the functional performance of the IT tool post-implementation and recommend enhancements or updates as needed.What we are looking forEducation:- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Environmental Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.Experience:- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within IT or sustainability-related projects.- Experience in defining and implementing IT tools or software solutions.- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks, and industry best practices.Skills:- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficient in business process mapping and requirements documentation.Candidates must be willing to work 3 days per week in the office in Barcelona, 2 days remote.
