Part of the work is likely to be in the helpdesk area, answering user requests.
The rest of the time will be distributed between training and system administration user-oriented tasks (cybersecurity, networking, Office 365, etc.
)The main responsibilities are:Helpdesk:To provide general IT support to the users and to triage issues to more specialist team members.Installation and support of computer Hardware and Software, AV equipment in meeting rooms, printers, telephony and mobile devicesMaintaining the Inventory database of all IT Equipment and SoftwareSystems-Administration:Management and support of the user-oriented services provided by the IT department including Email, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory, etc.Management of the IT infrastructure including network switches and firewallsUser training:Organization of user training related to any IT services, in collaboration with the Training & Academic OfficeReview of the IT documentationsAbout the departmentThe IT Department is responsible for providing IT services to over 500 users (employees or collaborators) located in Barcelona Biomedical Research Park – PRBB.
The department is divided into 3 areas: the Helpdesk team - responsible for the direct support to the user, the Systems Administration team - in charge of administrating all the IT systems and the Web team - responsible of the web development and support
