Then read on...Working in the systems TeamThe successful candidate will be joining Open Cosmos' systems team and will be responsible to technically manage the development and implementation of satellite missions to fulfil the company needs as well as providing thermal expertise across company missions, while feeding onto the product roadmap to continuously improve our services with a very customer centric attitude.What will you be doing?The following reflects Open Cosmos definition of essential deliverables and activities for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Open Cosmos may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons:Lead the delivery of space missions being the mission technical responsible.Coordinate different technical teams to deliver a consistent technical solution.Act as Thermal system work package manager in various space missionsProduce and manage requirements and verification plans, including definition of derived requirements for the thermal system; perform system level analysis, calculations and trade-offs.Deliver FMECA and FDIR analysis.Perform thermal analysis and required tests at system and subsystem level and deliver reportsSupport in the AIT/AIV phases of the missions.Perform hands-on testing for anomaly debugging on flight hardware, both on ground testing and in-orbit during LEOP, commissioning and operations.Support bid work, sales team, mission and operations teams, customer support or any other teams within the company with technical information and documentation.Commit to fulfil customer requirements and expectations and managing communication with partners and suppliers.What you need to be successfulWe're more interested in what you can do than being dogmatic about your background!
