Leap29 are working with an oil and gas EPCM client based in Madrid who are looking for an experienced Process Engineer. They are one of the worlds largest and diverse providers of technical and management services.Duration: 12 months + extendable contractRate: Hourly discussed on applicationPrimary responsibilities:1. Execute and manage process activities2. Plan and monitor work3. Coordination with other disciplines4. Lead process and project team5. Carry the responsibility for the result of the projectSkills required:1. Develop PFDs / P&IDs and determine process control systems2. Calculate heat mass balances3. Calculate and specify process equipment control valves, pressure relief valves4. Pipe diameters, pressure drops in pipes and systems5. Act as lead engineer and guide/supervise area lead engineers6. Control quality of documents, reportsExperience:1. Bachelor / Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent2. Minimum 5-10 years experience in process design3. Oil and gas units, Renewable energy, chemicals and polymer units or refineries4. Fluent in English written and spoken, Spanish preferred5. Travel between offices and occasionally overseas6.
