.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a Knowledge Analyst (KA) within BCG's Operations Practice Area, you will work in a growing global team, providing functional expertise and insights, working together with BCG case and proposal teams to deliver customized knowledge assets and expert advisory for diagnostics and live projects.You will support business development and go-to-market efforts of the Operations Practice Area, particularly across Manufacturing & Supply Chain; contributing with research and analysis to marketing efforts. While contributing to client cases, workshops and proposals, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected to understand client requirements, and design / develop solutions.Additionally, you will support the Manufacturing & Supply chain business in developing existing & new intellectual property and knowledge assets. As a Knowledge Analyst you will assist with on-boarding, training and guiding junior colleagues and share best practices within the team.The Operations Practice Area is one of BCG's functional practices and helps our clients create competitive advantage by enhancing their performance and building strategic capabilities. The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Business Line comprises an expert network of knowledge team members and experienced consultants who help our clients on specific cases related to the functions and disciplines within the topic (e.G., end-to-end supply chain optimization, manufacturing & supply chain strategy, network optimization, digital operations, lean production systems, logistics, quality and maintenance & production engineering).As a Knowledge Analyst for the Operations Practice Area & Manufacturing & Supply Chain business, you will:Provide expertise and support on daily Manufacturing & Supply Chain related queries to the consulting teamsCollaborate with consultants and other global BCG Knowledge Teams to build new proprietary toolsDevelop our Manufacturing & Supply Chain content by conducting research & analysis, collecting data, reviewing our knowledge products & ensuring they are up-to-dateActively participate in efforts to innovate our approaches and enhance the overall offer of our Operations / Procurement business lineThe candidate is expected to have knowledge in at least two or more of the following topics: Manufacturing & Supply Chain strategy and Benchmarking, Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance optimization, Quality Management, Industry 4.0/AI/GenAI application, Supply Chain Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Inventory Optimization, Logistics, Sustainability in Operations
