The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional financial acumen, and a proven track record of driving financial performance in a fast-paced environment.The Head of Finance will report directly to the Group CFO of Powens, and manage a team of two accountants and controllers.Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership and Development- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.- Set clear goals and objectives for team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.- Promote continuous learning and development initiatives to enhance the skills and competencies of the finance team.- Ensure career development opportunities for team members according to the career plan- Accounting- Oversee all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address any findings or recommendations.- Reporting and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)- Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial analytical reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic initiatives.- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
