Do you want to be part of a pioneering team in the development of Intelligent Transport Systems?In GMV we are looking for an Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Development Supervisor.
You will be a key player in the supervision and control of design projects within the Transport Division (ITS).WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?Follow up work related to electronic and mechanical design to ensure that deadlines and technical specifications are met.Maintain fluid communication with the electronic and mechanical engineering teams to verify that the work follows the defined standards and requirements.Resolve technical issues that may arise in collaboration with designers and other engineers involved in the works.Generate periodic reports on the status of the work, identifying possible deviations and proposing corrective actions.Maintain continuous communication with suppliers to clarify technical requirements and ensure compatibility of purchased components and materials.Provide technical support on embedded Linux systems, assisting in the integration of electronic designs with embedded operating systems.Ensure that electronic designs comply with defined requirements and specifications.WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?For this position, we are looking for an engineer with a strong background in electronics (including circuit design, electronic components, and systems), working knowledge of CAD/CAE tools and electronic design software (such as Altium, OrCAD, or similar).
Familiarity with manufacturing, testing, and assembly processes for electronic and mechanical components and experience in embedded Linux systems is essential, with the ability to work on configurations, optimization, and troubleshooting in embedded hardware environments.WHAT DO WE OFFER?Hybrid working model and 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside your usual geographical area.Flexible start and finish times, and intensive working hours on Fridays and in summer.Personalized career plan development, training, and language learning support.National and international mobility.
