.Who are we looking for?The Sustainable Artificial Intelligence (SAI) unit is looking for a researcher with experience in machine learning for investigating on pervasive intelligence and the Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT). The researcher will carry out investigation on solutions suitable for advancing towards a truly pervasive and liquid AI enabling edge devices, to accomplish training and inference with the same accuracy of cloud AI without harming our environment. The successful applicant should have the competencies of R2 category.- Required qualification/skills/experience:– PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Telecommunications or closely related fields (at the time of signing the contract).– Knowledge on machine learning and edge computing.– Knowledge of data mining and software libraries (e.G., Python, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, SciKit, NumPy, R) for ML implementations.- Other skills that are valuable, but not mandatory are:– Knowledge of Optimization Theory (convex and non-convex optimizations) and Distributed Machine Learning (edge intelligence) is an advantage
